Introduction
- The ALPS pressure module is a pressure sensing solution designed based on the ADS131M02, specifically developed for automatic Z-axis homing and mesh bed leveling in 3D printers. By utilizing high-sensitivity pressure detection and real-time signal processing, the module can accurately sense the contact status between the print head and the bed, achieving millimeter-level leveling precision, eliminating errors from traditional mechanical limit calibration, and significantly improving first-layer printing success rates.

ALPS Pressure Module Precautions
Recommended Use with Nozzle Wiping Function
- When using the ALPS pressure module, it is recommended to use it together with the nozzle wiping function to ensure nozzle cleanliness, thereby improving the accuracy and stability of leveling.
Installation Precautions
- Securely install the module: Ensure the module is installed firmly to avoid poor contact caused by printing vibrations.
- Correctly connect the cables: Carefully check the wiring to ensure there are no errors and prevent module failure caused by incorrect wiring.
- Perform leveling tests: Before first use, please perform multiple leveling tests to verify whether the module's sensitivity and accuracy meet the requirements.
- Must connect to the mainboard: When only the
TYPE-Ccable and the pressure module are connected, you can only modify the configuration and cannot perform leveling; normal operation is possible only after the wiring is completed (new firmware supports a simple test via USB first to troubleshoot wiring issues).
Status Light Display
- Prerequisite: The module must be wired correctly and enabled in the console for the status light indication to be valid.
- Power-on Status: The status light in the green box stays on, indicating the module is working normally.
- Triggered Status: The status light in the red box blinks, indicating the module is in a triggered state.

Status Light Troubleshooting
- If the status light is not on, check whether the power wiring is correct.
- If the status light keeps blinking, the module may have detected an abnormal signal. Check whether the probe is stuck by foreign objects or damaged.
