5160 Plus Adapter Module​

  • Motherboard drive power: No additional wiring required; powered directly by the motherboard.
  • Drive module power: External power supply must be connected (12–60 V).

  • Motherboard drive power: The motherboard power interface needs to be connected to 12-24V.
  • Drive module power: External power supply must be connected (24–48 V).

SD Mode Switching Method​

The method for switching the SD mode varies among different models of TMC5160 driver modules. Please refer to the corresponding switching instructions based on your specific product.

Switching Precautions
  • Before switching modes, be sure to disconnect the power supply to avoid damaging the driver module due to live operation.
  • After switching is complete, carefully check whether the DIP switch/jumper positions are correct.
  • After mode switching, the firmware configuration file needs to be modified accordingly.
