TP 5V External Driver
TP 5V External Driver is a brand-new category external driver launched by FLY, continuing the TP series naming, suitable for motherboards that provide XH2.54 driver signal interfaces (DP series, PRO X10, MMU, etc.).
It is a 5V boost module that boosts the 3.3V driver signals (STEP/DIR/EN) output by the motherboard to 5V, used to adapt to external drivers that require 5V logic level input.
Basic Parameters
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Supported Motherboards | Motherboards that provide XH2.54 driver signal interfaces (DP series, PRO X10, MMU, etc.) |
| Driver Signal Interface | XH2.54 |
| Main Function | Boosts the driver signal from 3.3V to 5V, adapting to more external drivers |
| Power Supply Requirements | Requires the motherboard to provide 24V power supply; the motherboard driver power input must not exceed 24V |
This module requires the motherboard to provide 24V power supply, and the motherboard driver power input must not exceed 24V. Please confirm the motherboard power supply specifications before connecting to avoid damaging the module.
Wiring Instructions
Before starting, completely power off the printer and disconnect the power supply. Do not plug or unplug cables, organize interface wiring, or touch terminals while power is on.
Reference Configuration
The TP 5V External Driver is a level conversion module and does not require configuration of driver sections such as [tmc5160] or [tmc2209] itself. The mainboard side should simply configure the STEP/DIR/EN pins as per the external driver setup.
External Driver Configuration Guide: External Driver Usage Tutorial
After installing this module, do not connect the external driver immediately. First, complete the safety check according to the 5V Module Test Instructions to confirm that the module and configuration are correct before proceeding with wiring.
