Connect to Host Computer via SSH

Power Off Operation

Before starting, please completely turn off the printer and disconnect the power supply. Do not plug or unplug wiring harnesses, organize interface wiring order, or touch terminals while powered on.

Danger
  • This document only applies to FLY host computers
  • If you are compiling and flashing firmware, please refer to the network connection tutorial instead of the serial connection tutorial
  • You can connect to the device using serial port or WIFI
  • Please prepare MobaXterm_Personal or other SSH terminal tools in advance
  • Please confirm that the SD card has been flashed with the system corresponding to the host computer
  • If the host computer cannot start normally, please remove peripherals such as drivers, limit switches, and fans!!!
  • Finally, please connect to SSH via network for convenient firmware compilation!!
  • If you need to compile firmware, please refer to the tutorial for connecting to the host computer via WIFI or Ethernet cable

Installing the System Storage Card​

  • You need to ensure that the corresponding system has been flashed to the system card, otherwise it cannot start.

  • The figure below is a schematic diagram of the FLY-Pi-lite2.1 version.

Antenna Installation​

  1. Install the WIFI antenna
Caution
  • Please note that the host computer does not support WIFI with Chinese names, and does not support dual-band 2.4G and 5G combined WiFi.
  • The location indicated by the red arrow is the WIFI antenna connector.
  • The WIFI antenna connector is ipex1.
  • Please install the antenna to the ipex1 connector, otherwise it may fail to connect to the router due to poor signal.

Power Supply​

  • Use a USB Type-C cable to connect the FLY host to the computer
  • Ensure the USB Type-C cable supports data transfer!
  • After the system boots, the indicator light will flash rapidly!!
  • Flashing indicates the system has started

Connecting via SSH​

通过网页使用串口连接到上位机SSH​

  • 将上位机通过USB连接电脑后，点击下方的设备连接

  • 如果正常会显示USB Serial或者其他类似设备

  • 选择对应的设备， 然后点击连接

  • 连接成功后会有提示

  • FlyOS-FAST 默认用户名root, 默认密码mellow

  • 从V1.3.2版本开始,FAST系统使用串口连接双击或连续按两次回车键自动登录

  • 回车后会出现下图所示内容
