Driver Compatibility
FLY-USB-LCD7 requires a host-side driver to be installed before it can be used as an extended display. The driver supports four platforms: Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android.
It is recommended to download and try installing the driver corresponding to your host system and CPU architecture before purchasing. If the driver cannot be installed or an error occurs during installation, it may indicate that the current system, hardware architecture, or security policy is incompatible. Please confirm compatibility before purchasing.
Platform Support & Architecture Reference
Find the scenario closest to yours in the table below to confirm the architecture and driver file to download:
| Your Scenario | Minimum Requirement | Architecture | File to Download |
|---|---|---|---|
| Windows PC, Intel or AMD processor (most desktops/laptops) | Win10 1903+ / Win11 | x64 / amd64 | amd64.exe |
| Windows PC, ARM processor such as Snapdragon (e.g. Surface Pro X) | Win10 1903+ / Win11 | ARM64 | arm64.exe |
| Mac, M1/M2/M3/M4 chip (sold after 2020) | macOS 13.0+ | Apple silicon | .pkg (Universal) |
| Mac, Intel processor (sold before 2020) | macOS 13.0+ | Intel x86_64 | .pkg (Universal) |
| Linux PC, Intel or AMD processor | kernel 5.4.0+ | amd64 | amd64.deb or amd64.rpm |
| Raspberry Pi 4/5, Orange Pi and other ARM boards (64-bit) | kernel 5.4.0+ | arm64 / aarch64 | arm64.deb or arm64.rpm |
| Raspberry Pi 3, Orange Pi Zero and other ARM boards (32-bit) | kernel 5.4.0+ | ARMv7 / armhf | arm.deb or arm.rpm |
| Phone/tablet Android device | Android 10+ | Architecture-agnostic | .apk (Universal) |
The macOS driver is a Universal 2 package — both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs can use it directly without distinguishing architecture. The same applies to Android.
How to Check System Version and Architecture
If you are unsure about your system version or CPU architecture, check it using the following methods:
- Windows
- macOS
- Linux
- Android
Press Win + R, type msinfo32 and press Enter, then check "System Type":
- x64-based PC (or "x64-based PC") → Select Intel / AMD
- ARM64-based PC → Select ARM Processor
Click the Apple menu () → "About This Mac":
- Shows "Chip: Apple M..." → Apple Silicon (download directly, no need to distinguish)
- Shows "Processor: Intel..." → Intel Mac (download directly, no need to distinguish)
Open a terminal and run:
uname -m
Match the output:
x86_64→ Select x86_64 / amd64aarch64→ Select ARM64 / AArch64armv7l→ Select ARMv7 / armhf
Go to Settings → About phone → Check Android version.
Android 10 or later is required. Architecture does not matter.
Driver Download
Driver installation packages are provided through cloud storage, which contains driver files for all platforms. Please first confirm your host system and CPU architecture, then download the corresponding files.
Select your operating system and CPU architecture to see the driver files to download and installation instructions.
For Intel/AMD desktop and laptop computers running Windows 10/11
