Settings Interface

Open the settings interface

Press and hold the lower-left and lower-right areas of the screen simultaneously for about 2 seconds to open the settings panel. The settings panel will be overlaid on top of the image currently being pushed by the host.

Operation tips
  • You must press and hold both bottom corners at the same time; a single tap or double tap will not open the settings panel.
  • Tap the transparent area outside the panel to close the settings panel immediately.
  • If there is no operation for 30 consecutive seconds, the settings panel will close automatically.

The upper-right corner of the settings panel provides a Chinese / EN language switch. The selected result will be saved and will continue to be used after restart.

Screen (Screen Settings)

Backlight brightness (Backlight Brightness)

Drag the slider to adjust the screen backlight brightness, ranging from 5% to 100%. The brightness takes effect immediately and is automatically saved, and remains after restart.

Screen rotation (Screen Rotation)

You can select 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°:

OperationHow it takes effect
Switching between 0° and 180°Takes effect immediately
Switching between 90° and 270°Takes effect immediately
Switching between landscape and portraitA Confirm rotation confirmation box pops up; click Save and restart to save and restart

After rotation, the display direction and touch coordinates are adjusted synchronously, with no manual calibration required. Landscape and portrait use different logical resolutions, so switching between landscape and portrait requires a restart and reconnection of the USB display device.

Touch feedback beep (Touch Feedback Beep)

When enabled, the buzzer emits a short prompt sound each time the screen is touched.

User data drive (User Data Drive)

When turned on, the computer displays a FLY DATA disk, which can be used to set a custom boot logo. After file operations are complete, safely eject the disk on the computer.

Show real-time FPS

You can turn off real-time FPS, or choose to display it in the top-left, top-right, bottom-left, or bottom-right corner of the screen.

Screensaver

You can choose to turn off the screensaver, or set it to 15 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes. When the host stops pushing video and the set time is reached, the screen backlight will turn off; it will wake up after the video signal is restored.

Audio

Output volume

Drag the slider to adjust the audio output volume, ranging from 0% to 100%.

Mute audio output

When enabled, audio output is turned off. The volume value is retained, and the original volume is restored when this switch is turned off.

Upgrade (Firmware Upgrade)

Open Firmware upgrade drive, wait for the status to show Ready and confirm that FLY BOOT appears on the computer. Copy ota.cpio to the root directory of the disk, then safely eject FLY BOOT on the computer. The screen will automatically verify the upgrade package and begin the upgrade.

Do not power off during the upgrade

After safely ejecting FLY BOOT, the screen will automatically begin verification and upgrade. During the upgrade process, do not disconnect the USB cable or cut off the power, otherwise the device may fail to start properly.
