Product Overview
FLY-D8 is a main control board based on the high-performance ARM Cortex-M4 core of the STM32F407, specifically designed for multi-axis, high-precision 3D printers. The board features rich interfaces, comprehensive protection functions, and good expandability. It supports Marlin 2.0 and Klipper firmware, making it suitable for DIY upgrades or next-generation printer development.
Main Features
- Core Performance: Uses the STM32F407VGT6 chip with a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 core running at 168MHz, offering strong computing power.
- Rich Interfaces: Supports 8 motor drivers, 6 limit switches, 4 heating and thermistor channels, 2 RGB light strips, providing strong expandability.
- Reliable Connectivity: Supports CAN bus and RS232 communication for stable data transmission with low latency.
- Safety Protection:
- Power input features reverse connection protection.
- The 5V supply for interfaces like limit switches uses an isolated design; it does not output when the main power is not connected, preventing damage from incorrect operations.
- Convenient Debugging: Onboard BOOT and RESET buttons allow easy entry into DFU mode via USB for firmware flashing.
- Dual USB Design: Provides two USB 2.0 interfaces. One can be switched to an RS232 interface via a physical switch, adapting to various external devices.
