SHT36 V3 Onboard DIP Switches and Firmware Instructions
Selecting the Firmware Type
Please confirm the connection method first
- For CAN connections: select CAN firmware.
- For RS232 connections: select RS232 Firmware.
- For RRF-CAN functionality: select RRF-CAN firmware.
- Only one of the three firmware types can be selected. Do not flash multiple types simultaneously.
| Firmware Type | Applicable Scenario | Advantages | Confirmation Before Selection | Operation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CAN Firmware | When CAN connection is needed | Supports CAN bus communication | Confirm the CAN baud rate matches the host and other devices | See CAN firmware steps below |
| RS232 Firmware | When RS232 connection is needed | Suitable for direct serial connection | Confirm RS232 wiring and host serial port configuration | See RS232 firmware steps below |
| RRF-CAN Firmware | When using RRF-CAN functionality | Supports RRF-CAN operating mode | Follow the corresponding DIP switch and flashing steps | See RRF-CAN firmware steps below |
Factory Firmware
The SHT36 V3 comes pre-flashed with Katapult (CAN) firmware from the factory, with a default baud rate of 1M. For other configurations (e.g., CAN baud rate 500K), re-flash the firmware by following the steps below.
